Rabbi Feuerman, as the principal, meant so much to my brother when he attended Jewish Foundation School. This biography is even more inspiring as an insight into Rabbi Feuerman's "origin story." I've mailed a copy of your article, "A Chaplain's Tale During the Korean War" - which appeared in the Spring '18 issue of Jewish Action to my brother. Thank you so much for these inspiring portraits.

Thank you so much for sharing Rabbi Feurman's experiences and disappointments at JTS. I graduated 50 years after him and more or less share his experiences and sentiments. B'H, I decided to enter law and I send my kids to Orthodox day schools and daven at a proper, Orthodox shul. I wish I would have met your father-in-law and spoken about our shared experiences. May his neshamah have an aliyah.
